Who We Are

Legacy Makers provides software that helps funeral homes, families, and design professionals create, share, and print personalized funeral programs. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, business name, and role.
  • Program content — names, dates, photographs, biographies, tributes, and service details that you or your families provide to build a program.
  • Order and payment information — printing orders, shipping details, and payment confirmations. Card details are handled directly by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
  • Business contact records — information about funeral homes and print partners used by our sales and support teams.
  • Meeting information — when you hold a scheduled video demonstration with our team using Zoom and enable meeting summaries, we may store the summary of that meeting in your account record. We do not record or store meeting audio or video.
  • Usage information — basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and reliable.

How We Use Information

  • To create, save, preview, share, and print the programs you design.
  • To process print orders and deliver them to you or your customers.
  • To provide customer support, training, and account management.
  • To send service-related messages such as order updates and approval requests.
  • To maintain the security, integrity, and performance of the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use program content for advertising.

Sharing of Information

We share information only as needed to run the service: with print partners who fulfill your orders, with our payment processor to complete transactions, with our email delivery provider to send service messages, and with hosting providers who store the data. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Zoom Integration

If you connect your Zoom account, we request read-only access to your meeting details and AI Companion meeting summaries. This is used solely to attach a summary of a scheduled demonstration to the matching record in our customer management system. You may disconnect the integration at any time from your Zoom account under Settings → Installed Apps, which immediately revokes our access. On removal, we delete the Zoom data associated with your account upon request.

Data Retention and Security

We retain your account and program information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward so that programs can be recovered or reprinted. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to authorized personnel.

Your Choices

You may review, correct, export, or request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us. You may also ask us to remove a specific program, photograph, or guestbook entry.

Children's Privacy

The service is intended for business and adult family use and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
